ops / operations room The ops room is the "control room" of a courier business - where courier jobs are booked, allocated to drivers, and tracked. See also controller.
owner driver If you're a courier and you drive your own vehicle then you're an owner-driver (OD). You don't actually have to own the vehicle (you could lease or hire it) but the main thing is you provide a complete service to your customers - vehicle, driver, courier insurance, courier documentation and so on.
